MU Legend Takes Place On The Title

Continuation of the popular Korean MMORPG, where we come to visit the title MU continent again. We start with the creation of a character representing one of the diverse classes, and then embark on a journey full of danger - the production offers a variety of attractions for both loners and supporters of team play. In addition to PvE modes, different variants of the gameplay were implemented in the production, based on the PvE rules. The whole system is completed by an extensive guild system.

MU Legend is a continuation of MU Online - a very popular MMORPG game, released in 2003. Like the prototype, Webzen's studio is responsible for the production. The title was released on the Windows PC platform.

Story

MU Legend takes place on the title, mythical continent, which the world heard through James Churchward. He claimed that more than fifty thousand years ago on Earth existed the advanced civilization of the Naacals, which inhabited this land. However, it ended the cataclysm as a result of which a similar fate to Atlantis met her - was absorbed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Churchward's controversial theories were, of course, developed by Korean developers and enriched with fantastic elements.

The game tells the story of a war that raged between Rugard, the God of Light, a thousand years ago, and Sekneum, the God of Destruction. The latter was defeated by the Supreme Creator - Accord. The idyll, however, did not last long - he soon accepted the human shell to once again return to the mortal world. His great intentions, however, have been reviewed by the Great Mage Kundun, who imprisoned him in his own body for ultimate peace. In the end, however, he surrendered his power and awakened as the Dark Lord, who ravaged the world at the apocalypse. At this point, players enter the action, playing the Devias knights accompanying the last sage Icarus. Their task is to save him from total destruction.

Mechanics

We start playing MU Legend on the Windows PC platform by choosing a class of our characters. Various specialties were offered to us: Dark Lords are the dark knights who sacrificed part of their humanity in return for great power; Whisperers are excellent scouts equipped with ranged weapons and the ability to control the forces of nature, allowing them to silently eliminate almost any target; Bladers are brutal warriors who draw strength from endless fury; War Mages, in turn, are the creators of extremely powerful battle spells, capable of chaos in the ranks of the enemy with elemental magic.

The next step is to start the adventure. The action is presented in an isometric view, and the gameplay is based on the exploration of varied locations, missions and side missions, and battles against opponents. On our way are standard adversaries as well as their stronger siblings, acting as bosses. As we progress we gain experience points, in return for which we develop hero statistics and teach it more and more powerful skills. The whole completes the guild system, allowing you to create your own grouping or join an existing guild.

Interesting variations are special locations - their visits provide access to unique equipment. Among other things is the Rift, which is randomly generated labyrinths, which are swarmed by opponents; Endless Tower, the challenge developed for high-level heroes; As well as Lupa's Labyrinth tempting powerful relics guaranteeing various bonuses, which the acquisition hinders the presence of powerful adversaries.

Game Modes

MU Legend has implemented both PvE-based game variants and PvP multiplayer duel modes. The latter can consist of clashes of up to two teams of up to ten people or one-on-one battles where we face other players controlled by artificial intelligence. It is worth noting that such skirmishes take place on specially prepared arenas.

Technical Issues

MU Legend on PC Windows platform is characterized by high quality, three-dimensional graphics. Noteworthy are the advanced special effects that accompany the throwing of elemental offensive spells.
